Karmen is child and adolescent psychologist seeing clients at the Loganholme practice. She is a generally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Her qualifications include a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Charles Darwin University. Karmen is registered as a Medicare provider for psychological services.

Karmen has a special interest in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as other developmental disorders, anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties. She also has a keen interest in promoting life-long positive mental health through building resilience and self-esteem.

Karmen believes that each child is unique and that approaches to therapy should be tailored to suit each child’s specific needs. She works with children one on one as well as in groups and is able to provide a range of evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Social Skills Training, Play Therapy and Mindfulness.
