What to expect at your first appointment
Your first session with Cassi is designed to feel safe, welcoming, and supportive. She will take time to actively listen to your concerns, gather relevant background information, and understand what has brought you to therapy. Together, you’ll discuss your goals, expectations, and support needs. This collaborative session helps identify key focus areas and develop a tailored plan that reflects your individual needs, setting a strong and supportive foundation for therapy moving forward.
Support for children, adolescents, and families
Growing up isn’t always easy, and neither is parenting. Cassi works closely with children, adolescents, and families to help young people develop emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence, while also supporting parents with practical guidance and strategies.
She commonly supports children and adolescents experiencing:
- School anxiety or avoidance
- Emotional outbursts or meltdowns
- Low confidence or self-esteem
- Stress and overwhelm
- Social and communication challenges
- Behaviour or adjustment difficulties
- Difficulty making or keeping friends
- Transitioning from homeschool to mainstream schooling
- Moving from primary to secondary school
- Separation anxiety
- Attention, focus, or learning challenges
- Bullying or peer conflict
- Adjusting to new routines or teachers
- Non-suicidal self-injury or suicidal ideation
Parents are supported alongside their children so families feel informed, empowered, and not overwhelmed.
FIFO families: You don’t have to do it alone
FIFO life brings a unique rhythm that many families silently carry. Long periods of solo parenting, constant adjustments, emotional ups and downs, and the pressure of “holding it all together” can take a toll.
Cassi provides tailored support for FIFO partners, spouses, and families, helping navigate:
- Emotional load and burnout
- Relationship strain
- Parenting challenges during long absences
- Communication and reconnection
You don’t have to carry it all alone, support is available, right here in Agnes Water.
Support for couples and relationships
Strong relationships still face challenges, especially during periods of stress, life transitions, or disconnection. Cassi offers a supportive space for couples to slow things down, improve communication, and better understand each other’s needs. Her couple’s work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based approaches, helping partners explore patterns, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of relating, without blame or judgement.
