Jessica originally commenced her studies in Psychology for the love of working with people. She is constantly in awe of the resilience her clients bring to sessions. She loves seeing the small changes her clients are able to make, which has a big impact on their level of functioning in their day to day lives.
Jessica is passionate about working holistically alongside clients and adopts a client centred, strengths based approach to ensure clients feel heard and supported.
Jessica has experience working as a Youth Worker, experience in the forensic psychology space, as a case manager in domestic and family violence and with children and adolescents experiencing mental health distress. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and their families. Jessica has experience working with clients who have experienced anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, trauma and those who have experienced domestic and family violence. She also has experience working with children and adolescents with ASD and ADHD.
Jessica has completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), her Honours degree (Psychology) and is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in New Zealand. She is currently in the process of waiting for her qualifications to be assessed by The Psychology Board of Australia and is currently working with The Psych Professionals as a Counsellor.
