Kelly is a psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She completed her undergraduate study at Central Queensland University and is currently undertaking a Master in Clinical Psychology at Charles Sturt University.
Kelly is an empathetic clinician who strives to empower her clients in achieving and maintaining change that is in line with their values and ideal future. She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds across the lifespan and enjoys working with people of all ages.
Kelly has worked with clients experiencing depression (e.g. low mood, low motivation, hopelessness, tearfulness, difficulties with sleep, not enjoying much of anything), anxiety (e.g. overthinking, worrying, irritability), behavioural issues, social difficulties, low confidence, drug and alcohol use and end of life issues. Kelly has a special interest in assisting people in coping and adjusting to a serious health condition such as Cancer. She has assisted people who have received news of a serious health condition, undergoing treatment and adjusting to life after treatment.
Kelly works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, however, also utilises Solution Focused Therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness strategies.
