Kelly is an empathetic clinician who strives to empower her clients to achieve and maintain change that is in line with their values and ideal future. She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds, across the lifespan and enjoys working with people of all ages.
Kelly is experienced in treating Anxiety, Phobias, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar Disorder and Depression. She also provides support for behavioural issues, low confidence, and end of life issues. Kelly has a special interest in assisting people in coping and adjusting to a serious health condition such as Cancer.
Kelly works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, however, also provides Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Kelly is also able to provide Virtual Reality (VR) therapy which is primarily for the treatment of Anxiety, Phobias and PTSD.
Kelly is a psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She completed her undergraduate study at Central Queensland University and is currently undertaking a Master of Clinical Psychology at Charles Sturt University.
Klly works collaboratively with each client, to ensure that the treatment plan developed suits their personal style, meets their expectations and assists them to achieve their goals.
