Lisa Andersen

Lisa’s interest and passion in Psychology stemmed from working in a school context with children and adolescents as a teacher for several years. Her experience in the field of education ignited a desire for delving deeper into exploring human behaviour, understanding learning and development as well as how individuals are shaped by their experiences and their environment.

Lisa holds an undergraduate degree Education and a Masters degree Psychology. She has extensive experience in working with children, adolescents and families. She has worked with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, grief, anger management, emotional self-regulation difficulties, behaviour management, and attention difficulties (ADHD).

Lisa is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve their potential and to live an authentic, meaningful life. She believes that the counselling process should equip her clients with the necessary tools and skills to manage life stressors, recognise their strengths and communicate and process their feelings in a helpful way.
