Maddy Haydar

With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about supporting individuals to lead fulfilling and balanced lives. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, including community mental health, education, high-performance sport, and private practice. I’ve had the honour of working with wonderful organisations like headspace, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Align Psychology, Collingwood Football Club, Hawthorn Football Club, and the AFL Players’ Association.
I specialise in working with adolescents, adults up to 60 years old, and families, helping them navigate a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions (including entering and retiring from sport), stress, sleep difficulties, disordered eating, pain management, trauma, and comorbid physical health issues.
A significant part of my work also focuses on athletes in both community and high-performance environments, supporting them to thrive not only in their sport but also in life outside of it. My approach is always holistic, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual, ensuring that we work together in a collaborative way toward meaningful and lasting change.
Above all, my goal is to create a warm, safe, and compassionate space where you feel heard and supported as you explore your concerns. Whether you’re dealing with a specific challenge or looking to enhance your overall wellbeing, I’m here to help you on your journey. I firmly believe that early intervention can make a world of difference, and I’m committed to providing the care and tools necessary for you to live your best life.
Let’s work together to create a path forward that fits you.
