The Psych Professionals Fees

The Psych Professionals team consists of a range of clinicians with varying skillsets, experience and special interest areas.

Our up-front fees range from $170 – $300 per session depending on the experience of the clinician providing the service.

We do not offer bulk billed appointments, however Medicare rebates apply with some clinicians for Clients with a GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan. Currently, Medicare’s rebates are $96.65 for a Registered Psychologist and  $141.85 for a Clinical Psychologist.

 

We also accept a range of third party funding, including Work Cover, Insurance (CTP), Victim Assist, and    Self-Managed NDIS.

Please note we are not currently accepting EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) or DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) referrals.

Other Services

The Psych Professionals complete other services including reports and communication with other parties, however, whether these are able to be completed and the associated costs, are dependent on the situation. Please contact our office regarding other services.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change, but to ensure fair access to appointments, we enforce the following cancellation notice periods:

Initial Appointment Cancellation Policy (7-Days Notice Required)

 

Notice Period

Cancelling Your Appointment (Not Proceeding with The Psych Professionals)

Rescheduling Your Initial Appointment (Changing the date/time but still proceeding with therapy)

Inside 7 days

 

 Deposit is retained as a cancellation fee

Deposit may be retained as a cancellation fee. Individual circumstances will be considered.

Outside 7 days

Deposit is refunded to client

Deposit is applied to the new appointment

Standard Appointment Cancellation Policy (48-Hour Notice Required, Excluding Weekends & Public Holidays)

      • After your initial appointment has been completed, if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends and public holidays).
      • Cancellations made inside this 48-hour window will incur the full session fee.
