The Psych Professionals prides itself on doing what it does to a standard of excellence each day.
We are always on the lookout for team members aligned to our values, who are client centred and passionate about making a difference in the community. We have the vision to help people live the life they deserve and break the stigma around mental health.
Work with a company that values providing excellence as the norm.
Our level of excellence is achieved through:
What makes our culture so unique is that we believe that culture is not an outcome. Our culture consists of collaborating and cultivating to ensure it meets the needs of our team and is flexible and constantly evolving. We have created a structure to our work weeks that facilitates team engagement, involvement and collaboration. Through each activity, we focus firmly on culture, from how we interact with our administration team, how we manage our diaries, our group clinical supervision, and our team planning days.
Our Next Level Professional Development Program
Our Professional development exceeds the industry norm. You have access to supervision in the following forms:
- Structure Professional Development Intensive Days
- Formal Professional Development (external programs)
- Guest presenters
- Allocated Professional Development budget
We are also unique in that you have allocated time (during work hours) to complete professional development. Your professional development plan (developed in conjunction with one of our STAP Accredited Supervisors) allows you to have the time and space to explore your interests, niche areas and obtain your level of excellence.
Burn out prevention model
The Psych Professionals prides itself on our burnout prevention model, which ensures we continue to love the work we do every day. To ensure the service we are providing to each client is the same as if they were our first client for the day.
You will also have work-life harmony, having the energy to spend time with your loved ones and be the person you want to be, whether a partner, husband, wife, mother, father, friend or furry parent.
Our burnout prevention model includes:
- Active caseload management
- Supportive, collaborative and engaged team
- Client bookings are limited to avoid clinical burnout
- Ongoing supervision and learning opportunities
- A focus on personal as well as professional development
- Focus on building a client load of clients you love
- Self-care, reflective practice and home life hold great importance
Feedback Informed Internal Processes
Our management team continuously seeks feedback to increase how to support our clinical and non-clinical teams open and implement the changes to help them better. We take a radical candour approach to management inclusive of transparency, honesty and a belief in creating spaces to be vulnerable and for continued growth. Research demonstrates the effectiveness of feedback informed treatment for our clients. We hold ourselves at the same standards to create the same relationship and standards between our management team and our clinicians.
We like to hire based on attitude. Why? Because our team is essential to us. We want you to fit in, to feel a part of our team culture, and we want you (and the rest of our team) to come to work satisfied and happy each day – yes, we are building a happiness-cantered practice, and we love it.
